Meet Momma Gaia!

Meet Mama Gaia! This sweet gal found her way into my attention span and I couldn’t feel more blessed to support her and her puppies on their journey.

Jolene Dawn Counselling and Consulting is going to be sponsoring this mama and the care of her puppies. My heart ached when I found out that not only was she a stray, who was pregnant and suffering from heartworm, but with further investigation, they also found some pellets in her and that she had, at some point, been shot. I have since found out that her birthday is February 2024, and this was the exact same time that my family had to say goodbye to our family dog, who was also a rescue 13 years prior. I love that this mama has found her way into our hearts and how full circle that feels there.

I have named her Mama Gaia to honour her strength and the power of creation that she so fiercely harnesses. Her puppies will also be named in the theme of her.. which will be so fun for us all! Are you guys gonna follow this journey!?
